ROLE OVERVIEW

Spend quality time with clients in their homes, engaging in activities like conversation, crafting, listening to music, and playing games.

Time Commitment

  • Hours: 1 - 2 hours per week

  • Flexibility: Choose the client you’d like to visit regularly and set a schedule that works for both of you.

Training and Support

  • Orientation and Training: Includes procedures, do’s and don’ts, disability accommodations, safety, and activity ideas

  • Ongoing Training: Optional opportunities available

  • Support: Continuous communication with the MOWLB support coordinator for any questions or concerns

  • Background Check: Required for all volunteers

  • Age & License: Must be 18 or older with a valid driver’s license for at least 2 years
