Nonprofits, service organizations brace for rising gas prices

Meals on Wheels of Loveland and Berthoud was featured in a 9News segment last evening. The reporting team visited our facility and met with our Executive Director, Jeffrey Pomranka, to discuss how the rising gas prices are effecting our volunteer-driven organization.

Meals on Wheels Driver Volunteers not only donate their time to help, but they also use their personal cars and gas money to get the important work of meal delivery done.

We appreciate all of our generous volunteers, and the work that they do. We are also grateful to 9News for highlighting this issue and opening the conversation for possible solutions during a very uncertain time.
