Meals on 4th: A Night of Connection and Community

On June 18, 2024, Meals on 4th brought together community members for an unforgettable evening of delicious food, lively entertainment, and lasting connections. Our annual summer event, this year, themed “Social!”, celebrated the power of community and the importance of socialization for homebound and aging adults.

The evening kicked off with a refreshing Shrimp & Salmon Ceviche from A.K.A. Kitchen, setting the tone for an exquisite culinary journey. Guests enjoyed delicious courses from Fresh Plate Catering and The Hub Cafe by Fresh Plate, Taste Local, Rise Artisan Bread, Door 222, and White Paper BBQ, each dish highlighting the creativity and dedication of our talented local chefs. The night ended on a sweet note with lemon bars from our own Mealson Wheels team, a nostalgic favorite of our clients.

Live music, dancing, and engaging conversations filled the street, creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The support from our generous sponsors and the participation of our wonderful guests made this event a true success.
